Sight-in Days

CRGC opens the rifle ranges to the general public and CRGC members prior to the start of the rifle hunting seasons to provide hunters the opportunity to insure their firearms are properly sighted in prior to going hunting.  The sight-in days are usually the last two full weekends in September.  The Oregon Hunters Association sometimes also has a table at the range to sign up members in the organization, and offer tickets for firearms raffles.  CRGC provides rifle ranges, targets, and experienced spotters at each firing point to help with the sighting in process.  Access to a chronograph and ballistics computer is also available.

The fees for these services are:

• $5.00 for each rifle sighted in.
• $1.00 deposit for each chamber flag, which is refunded when the flag is returned.
• $1.00 for a shot string through the chronograph.
• $1.00 for a ballistics chart.
